Let's catch Iran red deer in snow

Maral, the Iranian red deer, is an endangered animal you can rarely see these days.

Here is an amazing video showing maral in the snow that covers a protected natural area in Iran's Mazandaran Province. 

Maral is one of the subspecies of red deer that is mostly native to areas between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.

Hunting is an important threat to the precious species and in the breeding season, Iranian environmentalists are invited to help rangers protect their habitats.
